Bulgogi Beef

Ingredients

500g thin sliced beef, bavette, skirt (semi freeze to make it easier) or buy steak Canadians already done.

4 garlic cloves, minced

3 spring onions, chopped

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons sugar

3 tablespoons CORE Apple Juice

1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil 

1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds, coarsely ground in a pestle and mortar.

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Method

Combine all the ingredients and marinade beef for at least 30 mins in fridge.

Griddle or pan fry in a hot pan for 30 seconds each side, rest pour over cooking juices, heat any remaining marinade for a minute on high heat and pour over. Serve in ramen in rice bowls with lettuce leaves and ssamjang sauce or as a sandwich with kimchi slaw.
